Billy Sink

Here is a sinkhole that you can drive right into! It is a place where you can get away from the rat race of daily life. Others have built a couple of fire rings so you can set up a camp with minimal work. While we were there this past weekend (7/9/2016) getting the info for this webpage we saw 2 deer inside the sinkhole! They didn't seem bothered that we were there taking their pictures.
To get there, you head south on Highway 67 for about 1/4 mile to where the horse ride corral is and then turn left (go east) for about 1 1/2 miles and turn right (south). Go about 1 1/4 mile and watch for a road (2136) to the left. Take that road and you will go over a small hill and curve to the left.  You will be looking at the entrance to the sink. Drive in and park. This is another good place to stop and have a picnic lunch and enjoy some peace and kick back and relax.
We recommend a high-clearance vehicle due to the last little drive heading to the entrance of the sinkhole.
