Canyon when we saw what appeared to be a herd of cattle grazing in
those big meadows. As we got closer we noticed a lot of vehicles
stopped on the highway. We then realized that it wasn't cattle, but it
was bison - American Buffalo. This was the first time that was saw wild
buffalo in Arizona. We estimate that there was about 140 to 150 buffalo
in these meadows. That gave us the opportunity to get some good
