We enjoy seeing and getting pictures of wildlife. Eagles and birds of
prey are our favorites. Yesterday we went to St George to do some
shopping. We had some really nice weather. On the way home along
Highway 89 between Kanab and Old Paria we saw 4 different eagles. 3
golden eagles and 1 bald eagle. The bald eagle was first and it was
close to 400 yards away on private land, so there was no access to get
closer, but we did manage to get a couple of shots. You can see the
claws on his left foot.
We were lucky to see the goldens far
enough away to find safe parking and get good pictures. The last one
that we saw was sitting there not paying much attention to us and it
could not see me behind the steering wheel. I started making a tweeting
sound that was some what like a small bird. That sure got the eagles'
attention and Shirley got a really good picture.
We hope you enjoy our pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them!
Notice the talons sticking out from the top of the pole.
What did I just hear?
A bit breezy
No I do not have a bald spot!
We really like this shot!
